*A present from a harpooner from Lamalarep, Flores in Indonesia, received during my stay there in September 1996, when the displayed photographs were shot. Since there had been no whales sighted that year as yet; this was a mock display that I, as a student, with a part-time job in Germany, could afford to pay for and in which almost the whole village participated.
